Hi!!

Now I will talk about a real succession.
The protagonist is Frankie. It is a cat who steals soft toys from the children. He gets into the houses through the cat flaps. His owner, Mrs Bishop, puts up posters in the neighbourhood asking people to contact the owner of these soft toys.

Saint George's legend

Hi!

I will tell about a legend. It is Saint George's legend. First, I will tell in English, and then, in Catalan.


English:

Once upon a time there was a little village on the top of a big mountain.

The king and his daughter, the princess, lived in a beautiful castle near the village.

There was also a big green dragon. He lived in a cave, near the village. He was very bad. He wanted to eat the princess.

The dragon was very hungry. He said to the princess:

- I'm hungry. I'm going to eat you!

-Help! Help! Saint George, help me please! I'm afraid of dragons.

And Saint George arrived with his white horse, holding a sword and a shield.

Stop, bad dragon. I'm not afraid of you! And... sneak, snack. The dragon was covered in blood.

And from the dragon's blood, a beautiful red rose was born. Saint George gave this rose to the princess.


Catalan:

Hi havia una vegada, un petit poble al cim d'una muntanya.

El rei i la seva filla, la princesa, vivien en un bonic castell a prop del poble.

També hi havia un gran drag verd. Ell vivia en una cova, a prop del poble. El drac era molt dolent. ell es volia menjar la princesa.

El drac tenia molta gana. Ell li va dir a la princesa:

-Tinc gana! Se't menjaré!

-Socors! Ajuda! Sant Jordi, vine'm a slavar! Tinc molta por als dracs!

I Sant Jordi va arribar amb el seu cavall blanc, portant una espasa i un escut.

Para, maleït drac! A mi no em fas port. I... plif, plaf. El drac va quedar cobert de sang.

I de la sang del drac, en va néixer una bonica rosa vermella. Sant Jordi la va agafar, i li va donar a la princesa.

My parent's job

Hi! In this writing I will talk about my parent's job. My father, Miquel, is a butcher. He works in a factory called Mª del Tura Feixas and is it in el Mallol. My mother is a responsible of a colony house called Casal Juvenil Sant Domènech Savio and is it in Sant Privat d'en Bas.
This is my parent's job and I would like they continue to have job. Bye!

The Christmas

I tell you about the Christams.

Christmas is a celebration that is held every year. It is celebre this on 25th December, and the people give presents to their parents, friends...

In this celebretion, the people usually drinks champagne and eats nougats, chocolates...

One very important person in this celebretion is Father Christmas. He is an old, plump man with a big belly and a log beard and moustache. His mission is give presents with all people on the world.

In Catalonia, Father Christmas isn't popular, but the Three Magic Kings and el "Caga Tió" are important.

The Three Magic Kings are three magic kings. These called Melcior, Gaspar and Baltasar, and they from the East. Their mission is the same than Father Christmas.

And the "Caga Tió" is a trunck. The people catch a stick and they hit it, and also give presents.


I think, the christmas is a very good celebration!

Hi!
My name is Joel Roura Turet and I'm 12 years old. I'm single. I live in El Mallol and it's a little village near Olot, on a detached house.
I've got a sister. Her name's Judit and he is 17 years old. My father called Miquel, and my mother, Dolors, and I've got a pet. It's a bird.
My primari school was el CEIP Verntallat, and my secondary school is IES Bosc de la Coma. I study 2nd of ESO. My English teacher's name is Carmina Martí.
My favourtie football team is FC Barcelona.
On my free time, I Play football and I go to English classes. On holidays, I like meeting friends, going to the XANASCAT staying and going to the beach.
